Matthew Hamilton Memorial Scholarship

For PTA students – The Matthew Hamilton Scholarship was established in memory of OCCC PTA student, Matt Hamilton. Matt tragically lost his life in a car accident. He had a passion for school and the PTA profession. Criteria: 1) Must be in the OCCC PTA program and have who has completed the last semester of academic coursework; 2) Must be in good standing with regard to academic and professional behaviors; 3) Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the PTA program coursework; and 4) Complete the required essay; 5) One reference from a faculty member; 6) One reference from a clinical instructor or employer. The recommendations from these individuals should include information about the professionalism of the applicant and ability to encourage, motivate, and connect with patients.
